Track your daily habits, build streaks, and visualize your long-term progress with a monthly calendar heatmap.

Habit Tracker for Daily Routines and Streaks

This habit tracker helps you build positive daily routines and keep them going. Create your own habits, check them off each day, and watch your streaks grow as your consistency turns into a clear visual record.

Each habit can have its own name, icon, color, and weekly schedule, so a weekday-only workout and an everyday reading goal live side by side. As you tick habits off, the app counts your streaks, tracks a weekly completion rate, and fills in a monthly calendar heatmap that shows how steady you have been over time.

Private by design: every habit and check-in is saved only in your own browser. No account is required and nothing is ever uploaded to a server.

How to Use the Habit Tracker

1

Create your habits

Tap Add Habit, give it a name, then pick one of 24 icons and 8 accent colors. Choose which days of the week to repeat it — leave all seven on for a daily habit, or select only weekdays.

2

Check off each day

Click the checkbox or anywhere on a habit card to mark it done. The circular progress ring updates in real time to show how much of the day's routine is complete.

3

Build your streak

Every consecutive scheduled day you complete adds to that habit's streak counter. The streak follows the habit's schedule, so off-schedule days never break your chain.

4

Review your progress

Check the statistics cards for your best streak, weekly rate, total check-ins, and active habits. Use the calendar heatmap to see the whole month — darker cells mean more habits done that day.

5

Move between days

Use the arrow buttons to step back or forward through days and fill in any you missed. Click the date label any time to jump straight back to today.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this habit tracker free, and do I need an account?

Yes, it is completely free and there is no account to create. Open the page and start adding habits right away — there is nothing to download or sign up for.

Is my habit data saved in my browser?

Yes. Your habits and completion history are stored in your browser's local storage and persist between sessions, so they are still there when you come back. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Clearing your browser data will, however, remove them.

Can I track daily and weekly habits?

Yes. Each habit has its own repeat schedule, so you can leave all seven days on for a daily habit or select specific days for a weekday-only or weekend-only routine. The app only counts the days a habit is actually scheduled for.

How do habit streaks work?

A streak counts the consecutive scheduled days you have completed a habit. Days that are not part of the habit's schedule are skipped, so if a habit runs Monday to Friday, the weekend will not break the streak. Missing a scheduled day resets that habit's streak.

Can I check off habits for past days?

Yes. Use the arrow buttons next to the date to navigate to any earlier day, then mark habits complete or undo them just like you would for today.

What do the calendar colors mean?

The calendar is a heatmap with five intensity levels based on the share of scheduled habits you completed that day. Lighter cells mean a few were done, darker cells mean most or all were done, and days with no completions stay plain. Hover over a day to see its exact completed-out-of-total count.

How is the weekly rate calculated?

The weekly rate looks at every scheduled habit slot from the start of the current week (Sunday) through today, then shows what percentage of them you completed.

Can I edit or delete a habit?

Yes. Each habit card has edit and delete buttons. Editing lets you change the name, icon, color, and schedule. Deleting removes the habit along with all of its history, so it cannot be undone.
