Quote Generator for Professional Price Quotes
This quote generator helps you create clean, professional price quotes and estimates for clients in minutes. Add your business and client details, list the items or services, and the running summary calculates the subtotal, discount, tax, and total as you type — then export the whole thing to a polished PDF.
It is built for freelancers sending project estimates, small businesses preparing service or product quotes, consultants writing cost breakdowns for proposals, and contractors pricing materials and labor. Save your company info once and it is pre-filled on every quote after that.
How to Make a Quote
Fill in the quote details
Enter the Quote #, date, and Valid Until date. The date defaults to today and the expiry is set 30 days ahead. Pick a Status — Draft, Sent, Accepted, or Declined — to track where the quote stands.
Add your business and the client
Enter your name, email, phone, and address in the From section and upload your company logo. Fill in the client in the To (Client) section. Click Save Info to store your business details and logo for next time.
Add your line items
Click Add Item for each item or service and enter a description, quantity, and unit price. The amount is calculated automatically, and you can add as many rows as you need.
Set tax and discount
Enter a Tax Rate and Discount as percentages. The discount is applied to the subtotal first, then tax is calculated on the discounted amount. The summary panel updates in real time.
Add notes and terms
Write any Notes for the client and your Terms & Conditions — payment terms, warranty, delivery conditions, and so on. Both appear at the bottom of the exported PDF.
Export to PDF
Click Export PDF to download a formatted quote with your logo, contact details, itemized table, and totals. The quote number auto-increments afterward, so the next quote is ready to go.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a quote and an estimate?
A quote is a fixed price you commit to for the work described, while an estimate is your best approximation of what the work will cost and may change as the job is scoped. This tool handles both — the document layout, line items, and totals are the same, so use the wording that fits your situation.
What should a price quote include?
A complete quote should have a quote number and date, your business and client details, an itemized list with quantities and unit prices, any tax and discount, and a clear total. Adding a valid-until date and terms and conditions makes it more professional. This generator gives you a field for each of these.
How long is a quote valid for?
That is up to you — 30 days is a common default, which is why the Valid Until date is pre-set 30 days ahead. Setting an expiry date protects you from price changes and gives the client a reason to decide. You can change the date to any window you prefer.
Is a quote a legally binding contract?
On its own, a quote is usually an offer rather than a binding contract — it generally becomes binding once the client formally accepts it and the terms are agreed. Spelling out your terms and conditions and a validity date in the quote helps make the arrangement clear. This is general information, not legal advice.
Can I save my quotes for later?
You can save your business information — name, contact details, and logo — for reuse across quotes, and the quote counter is saved so your numbering keeps going. Each finished quote is exported as a PDF you store on your device. Note the counter lives in your browser's local storage, so clearing browser data resets it; you can also type any quote number you like.
What currencies are supported?
The tool covers 40 currencies and picks a sensible default from your locale. Switch currencies from the picker and the symbol, decimal separators, and symbol position all adjust automatically. In the PDF, symbols with limited font support (such as ₫, ₹, or ₩) are shown as their ISO codes (VND, INR, KRW) so they always render — the on-screen display keeps the original symbol.
How are tax and discount calculated?
Both are percentages you set yourself. The discount is applied to the subtotal first, then tax is calculated on the discounted (taxable) amount — so the summary shows subtotal, discount, taxable amount, tax, and total in order. Set either field to 0 to leave it off.
Is my data stored on a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser. Your business information, client details, and quote contents are never sent anywhere, and saved business info is kept only in your browser's local storage.
