How is tax calculated?
Tax is applied to the amount after the discount. For example, a subtotal of $100 with a 10% discount becomes $90, and an 8% tax adds $7.20, for a grand total of $97.20. The breakdown updates automatically as you change the rates.
What's the difference between a receipt and an invoice?
An invoice is a request for payment sent before money changes hands, while a receipt confirms that payment has already been received. Use this tool for the proof-of-payment receipt; for the request-for-payment document, use an invoice generator instead.
Do I need to re-enter my business details every time?
