Frequently Asked Questions
Which languages can I type with this keyboard?
More than 33 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Russian, Hebrew, Tamil, Telugu, Bangla, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Amharic, Ge'ez, Khmer, Farsi, Pashto, Urdu, Vietnamese, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Polish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Amazigh, Abkhaz, Swiss German, and Elvish (Quenya).
Do I need to install anything?
No. The keyboard runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to download, install, or set up in your operating system.
How do I type Arabic, Russian, or Hindi without that keyboard?
Open the matching layout and click the on-screen keys. Each key shows its native character, so you can type a foreign script even if your physical keyboard only has Latin letters.
How do I add accents, tone marks, and special characters?
Press Shift to reach the alternate character printed on each key. On the Chinese Pinyin and Vietnamese layouts, type a vowel first, then tap a tone key to apply the correct diacritical mark.
How does handwriting recognition work?
On the Chinese and Japanese keyboards a drawing canvas appears. Draw a character with your mouse or touchscreen, then click a suggested match to insert it. Use Undo to remove the last stroke or Clear to erase the canvas.
Does it support right-to-left languages like Arabic and Hebrew?
Yes. For Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi, Urdu, and Pashto the text box automatically switches to right-to-left mode, so your text reads and aligns in the correct direction.
Can I copy the text I type?
Yes. Click the Copy button to send your text to the clipboard, ready to paste into a document, email, chat, or any other app.
Is my text stored or sent anywhere?
No. All typing and handwriting recognition happen locally in your browser. Nothing you write is sent to a server.
