Frequently Asked Questions
How does the mastery system work?
Each multiplication fact has its own mastery level. Answer a fact correctly 3 times in a row to mark it as mastered. If you answer incorrectly, the streak resets and you'll need to answer correctly 3 consecutive times again. This ensures you truly know the answer, not just guessed it.
What does Smart Practice do?
Smart Practice analyzes your mastery data and focuses on facts you find difficult. About 70% of practice questions target your weakest multiplication facts, while 30% review ones you already know. This approach is more effective than random practice because it concentrates effort where improvement is needed.
- Identifies your weakest multiplication facts
- Prioritizes challenging problems
- Maintains review of mastered facts
- Adapts to your progress in real-time
Is my progress saved?
Yes, all progress data including mastery levels, total statistics, and best quiz scores are saved in your browser's local storage. Your data persists between sessions as long as you use the same browser and don't clear your browsing data.
Can I reset my progress?
Yes. Go to the Progress tab and click Reset Progress. A confirmation dialog will appear since this action cannot be undone. Resetting clears all mastery data, statistics, and best scores.
Which multiplication tables are covered?
The trainer covers tables from 1 to 12. The reference table includes all 144 facts (1×1 through 12×12), while practice and quiz modes focus on tables 2 through 12 for more meaningful practice.
