How to Use

1

Drawing Freehand

Select the Pen tool (or press P) and draw directly on the canvas. Choose from 5 brush presets — Pen, Pencil, Ink, Marker, and Highlighter — each offering a different drawing style. Fine-tune your strokes by adjusting the Thinning, Streamline, and Taper settings.

2

Adding Shapes

Select a shape tool from the toolbar — Line (L), Rectangle (R), Ellipse (O), or Arrow (A) — then click and drag on the canvas to draw. Enable the Fill toggle to add a semi-transparent fill to rectangles and ellipses.

3

Adding Text

Select the Text tool (T) and click anywhere on the canvas. A text cursor appears so you can type immediately. Click outside the text to finish editing.

4

Selecting and Moving Objects

Switch to the Select tool (V) to click and drag objects around the canvas. You can select multiple objects by dragging a selection area.

5

Erasing

Use the Eraser tool (E) and click on any object to remove it from the canvas.

Navigating the Canvas

Zoom

Scroll the mouse wheel, or use the +/- buttons in the zoom bar

Pan

Use the Hand tool (H), hold right-click and drag, hold middle mouse button, or hold Space + left-click drag

Reset View

Click the Fit to Screen button in the zoom bar

Customizing Appearance

Pick a stroke color from the color picker or quick-access palette. Adjust the stroke width (1–100) and opacity (10–100%). Choose a background style — Solid, Grid, or Dots — and set any background color.

Pro Tip: Grid and dot patterns automatically adapt their colors for dark or light backgrounds, ensuring optimal visibility.

Click the PNG button to download your current canvas view as a PNG image file. The export captures what you currently see on screen at your current zoom level, with a solid background color.
