How to Use Checklist Maker
Creating a Checklist
Give it a Title
Click on the title field at the top and type your checklist name. Choose something descriptive that clearly identifies the purpose of your list.
Add Items
Type in the input field at the bottom and press Enter or click Add. The field automatically clears for rapid entry of multiple items.
Check Items Off
Click the checkbox next to any item to mark it as done. Watch your progress bar fill up as you complete tasks.
Using Templates
Don't want to start from scratch? Choose from 6 built-in templates designed for common scenarios. Select a template from the dropdown in the header, and a new checklist will be created with pre-filled items that you can customize.

Yes. All your checklists are automatically saved to your browser's local storage. Your data persists between sessions — just come back and your checklists will be there. If you're logged in, your data may also sync across devices.
Can I create multiple checklists?
Absolutely. Click the New button in the Saved Checklists section to create additional checklists. You can switch between them at any time by clicking on any checklist in the list.

How do I reorder items?
Drag the grip handle (the dots icon) on the right side of each item. Hold it and move the item up or down to change its position in the list. This allows you to prioritize tasks and organize items in the order that makes most sense for your workflow.

Yes, use the export button (download icon) to save your checklist as a PNG image. You can then share this image via messaging apps, email, or social media.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Yes. Simply click on any item's text to edit it directly. Changes are saved automatically as you type. This makes it easy to refine your tasks, fix typos, or add more detail to existing items.
What does "Clear Checked" do?
It permanently removes all items that have been checked off from the current checklist. Items that haven't been checked remain untouched. This is useful for cleaning up completed tasks and keeping your checklist focused on remaining work.
