Free Numerology Calculator by Name and Birth Date
This numerology calculator turns your birth date and full name into your complete chart of core numbers. Enter the day, month, and year you were born — add your full name for the deeper readings — and see your Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, Personality, Birthday, and Personal Year numbers in one step.
It uses the Pythagorean system, the most widely practiced method, which maps each letter A–Z to a value from 1 to 9. Master Numbers 11, 22, and 33 are preserved rather than reduced, and every result opens into a detailed meaning with keywords, strengths, weaknesses, and advice.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I calculate my Life Path number?
Enter your full birth date and the calculator does it for you. It reduces your birth month, day, and year separately to a single digit (or a Master Number), then adds those three results and reduces once more. The Life Path is your most important number and needs only your date — no name required.
What are Master Numbers (11, 22, 33)?
Master Numbers are special double digits that are not reduced to a single digit, because they carry heightened potential. 11 represents intuition and illumination, 22 the master builder who turns visions into reality, and 33 the master teacher of compassion. When a result lands on one of these, the card shows a Master badge.
Should I use my birth name or my current name?
Use your full name exactly as given at birth, including your middle name. This is the name that carries your original numerological vibration, regardless of later changes from marriage, adoption, or personal preference. The name powers your Expression, Soul Urge, and Personality numbers.
Do I have to enter my name?
No, the name is optional. With your birth date alone you get three numbers: Life Path, Birthday, and Personal Year. Adding your full name unlocks three more — Expression, Soul Urge, and Personality — along with the letter-by-letter breakdown.
Which numerology system does this calculator use?
It uses the Pythagorean system, the most common Western method, which assigns each letter a value from 1 to 9. It is not the Chaldean system, so a Chaldean calculator may give different name numbers. For Life Path, this tool reduces the month, day, and year separately before summing — a method that can differ slightly from calculators that add every digit at once, especially when Master Numbers appear.
How are accented names handled?
Diacritics are automatically converted to their base Latin letters for the calculation — for example, "Nguyễn" is read as "Nguyen". The original accented characters still appear in the letter breakdown for reference, so nothing about your name's display is lost.
What is the Personal Year number?
The Personal Year number describes the theme and energy of your current calendar year. It combines your birth month, birth day, and the current year. It changes each January 1st and cycles through a nine-year pattern, with each year bringing different opportunities and lessons.
Is numerology scientifically proven?
No. Numerology is a traditional belief system with no scientific evidence behind it. Treat it as a tool for self-reflection and entertainment rather than a factual assessment of your personality or future.
