Multiple timers, one screen. Multi Timer lets you create, name, and color-code as many countdown timers as you need and run them side by side. Each timer starts, pauses, and resets on its own, so you can keep an eye on several time-sensitive tasks at the same time.

Whether you are cooking a meal with dishes on different schedules, managing workout intervals, or working in Pomodoro blocks, you can spin up a timer for each one, or load a ready-made template, and control them all from a single page.

Private by design: every timer runs locally in your browser, and your timer names, durations, colors, and settings are saved only in your browser's storage. Nothing is uploaded to a server and no sign-up is required.

How to Use Multi Timer

Add a timer

Click Add Timer (or press N) to drop a new card onto the grid with a default 5-minute countdown. Add as many as you like — three starter timers are waiting the first time you open the page.

Set the time and name

Click the time display or the edit button to enter hours, minutes, and seconds, or tap a preset (1m, 3m, 5m, 10m, 15m, 30m, 1h). Click the timer's name to rename it to something like "Pasta" or "Rest".

Color-code each timer

Click the color circle on a card and pick from Blue, Green, Orange, Red, Purple, or Pink so you can tell tasks apart at a glance.

Start your timers

Use each card's play, pause, and reset buttons, or run everything together with Start All, Pause All, and Reset All. When a timer hits zero, the alarm plays and a pop-up lets you dismiss it or restart that timer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I run multiple timers at once?

Click Add Timer for each countdown you need, set the duration on each card, then start them individually or use Start All to launch them together. Every timer counts down independently on the same screen.

Can I label or name each timer?

Yes. Click a timer's name to rename it, and click the color circle to pick from six colors. Names and colors make it easy to tell tasks like "Pasta", "Work", and "Rest" apart at a glance.

How many timers can I add?

There is no fixed limit. Add as many timers as you need and the grid expands to fit them, though a very large number may affect your browser's performance. Each timer supports durations up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.

Can each timer have a different sound?

The alarm sound is a global setting that applies to every timer — open Settings and pick from Success, Microwave, Level Complete, or Victory. You can preview each one before choosing, and all timers will use that sound when they finish.

Do timers keep running in another tab?

Yes, timers keep counting while the tab is in the background, and you can turn on Browser notification in Settings to be alerted when one finishes. The tab does need to stay open — closing the tab or browser pauses your timers, but their names, durations, and colors are saved and restored when you return.

Is it free with no sign-up?

Yes. There is no account to create and nothing to install — open the page and start adding timers. Everything runs in your browser and your data stays on your device.

Are my timers saved if I refresh the page?

Yes. Your timer configurations and sound settings are saved automatically to your browser's local storage and restored when you reload or come back later. Note that running timers are paused on refresh — you can start them again with one click.

How do I stop the alarm when a timer finishes?

When a timer reaches zero, a pop-up appears with two choices: OK to dismiss it or Restart to reset and run that timer again. Clicking outside the pop-up also dismisses it. If repeat alarm is on, the sound keeps playing until you dismiss the pop-up.

There's no sound when my timer completes — why?

Check that your device volume is up and that Sound effects are enabled in Settings. Some browsers also require you to interact with the page before they play audio, so try clicking anywhere first, and make sure the tab itself is not muted.
