How do I find a country's capital and currency?
The capital appears right on each country card in the grid. Click the card to open the full profile, where the capital and the country's currencies — with their symbols and codes — are shown together with the rest of its data.
Can I browse countries by region or continent?
Yes. Use the region chips — Africa, Asia, Europe, Americas, and Oceania — to show only the countries on that continent. Combine a region filter with the search box to narrow results even further, and tap All to clear it.
Can I search in my own language?
Yes — the search matches native country names as well as English ones. Searching "Việt Nam" finds Vietnam and "Deutschland" finds Germany. You can also search by capital city or by ISO country code.
Where does the country data come from?
Country details are drawn from established geographic data following ISO 3166 standards, covering official names, codes, coordinates, languages, and currencies. The maps are rendered by OpenStreetMap.
Why do some fields show a dash (—)?
A dash means that particular value is not available in the data for that country. Some territories and special administrative regions do not have complete records for every field, so those are shown as a dash rather than left blank.
