How to Use the Packing List Generator

Set your duration
Enter the number of days (1 to 90), or tap a quick preset for 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, or 1 month. Clothing quantities scale with the length, and trips over 7 days automatically add laundry supplies.
Select the weather
Choose the expected conditions at your destination — Hot, Warm, Mild, Cold, or Rainy — to add weather-appropriate clothing and accessories to the list.

Yes. Each category has an input field at the bottom — type an item name and press Enter or tap the + button to add it. Custom items can be deleted individually whenever you like.
Will my list be saved if I close the browser?
Yes. Your full list, including checked items and custom additions, is saved to your browser's local storage and restored when you return. If you're signed in, it also syncs to your account so you can continue on another device.
What does the star mean?
A star marks an essential — something to prioritize because it's hard or costly to replace at your destination, such as your passport, prescription medications, or a sleeping bag for a camping trip. Essentials appear at the top of each category.
Can I create a new list for a different trip?
The tool keeps one active list at a time. Tap New List at the bottom to clear the current list and return to the setup screen, where you can pick a new trip type, duration, and weather.
How do I uncheck everything and start over?
Tap Reset All to uncheck every item while keeping the list intact — handy when you're repacking or want to run through the checklist again from the start.
Does the list cover everything I need?
It covers the most commonly needed items for each trip type and weather combination, but every trip is unique. Use the custom item feature to add anything personal — specialized equipment, specific medication, or comfort items — so the list fits exactly what you need.
