How to Make a Photo Collage
Upload your photos
Click the upload area or drag and drop your pictures onto it. You can load up to 20 photos at once in JPG, PNG, or WebP, and they are placed into the open grid cells automatically.
Choose a layout
Pick one of the 8 grid layouts, from a simple 2-photo arrangement to a 6-photo grid. Asymmetric options put one large photo beside smaller ones to spotlight a hero image.
Customize the look
Set the aspect ratio, slide the gap between photos (0–40px), round the corners (0–24px), and choose a background from the preset swatches or the custom color picker.
Fine-tune each photo
Drag inside a cell to pan a photo, scroll to zoom, and drag a photo onto another cell to swap their positions. Hover a photo to replace or remove it.
Export your collage
Choose PNG, JPG, or WebP and a quality level, then click Download. The collage is rendered at 2x resolution for sharp results on high-DPI screens and printing.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make a photo collage online?
Upload your photos, pick one of the 8 grid layouts, then adjust the spacing, corners, and background. Drag photos between cells and pan or zoom each one, and click Download when it looks right. There is nothing to install and no sign-up.
How many photos can I put in a collage?
You can upload up to 20 photos. How many appear at once depends on the layout, which holds 2 to 6 cells. Extra photos stay loaded and slot in when you switch to a layout with more cells.
What grid sizes and layouts are available?
There are 8 layouts: 2 photos horizontal or vertical, 3 photos as columns or 1 large + 2, 4 photos as a 2×2 grid or 1 large + 3, a 2 + 3 grid for 5 photos, and a 2×3 grid for 6 photos.
What image formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG, and WebP images. For export, you can save as PNG for lossless quality, JPG for a smaller file, or WebP for modern compression.
What resolution is the exported collage?
Collages export at 2x a 1200px base width. A 4:3 collage saves at 2400×1800 pixels, which works well for both on-screen sharing and printing. You can also choose Max, High, or Medium quality.
Can I adjust individual photos after placing them?
Yes. Drag inside a cell to pan a photo and scroll to zoom in or out, so you control exactly which part shows. Drag a photo onto another cell to swap positions, or hover it to replace or remove it.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens entirely in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere and stay on your device the whole time.
Why does my photo look cropped in the cell?
Photos use a "cover" fit, filling the whole cell while keeping their aspect ratio, so parts that don't fit are hidden. Pan and zoom inside the cell to choose which part of the photo is visible.
