Email Template Builder

Email Template Builder

Design responsive HTML emails with a visual block editor, 33 templates, live desktop and mobile preview, and one-click export for Gmail, Outlook, and marketing platforms.

Email Template Builder for Responsive HTML Emails

Email Template Builder is a visual editor for designing professional, responsive HTML emails without writing any code. Add and arrange content blocks on the canvas, then export clean HTML that renders reliably in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and Yahoo Mail.

Start from one of 33 pre-built templates or a blank canvas, customize every block and color to match your brand, and preview the result on desktop and mobile. Whether you are building a weekly newsletter, a promotional campaign, or a transactional notification, you get email-ready output in minutes.

Who is this for?

Marketers who need branded emails without a designer, small business owners assembling campaigns quickly, and developers who want a clean, table-based starting point for email HTML — anyone who needs a well-formatted HTML email.

Private by design: all editing and HTML generation happen entirely in your browser. Your content is never uploaded to a server, there is no sign-up, and no usage data is collected.

How to Build an Email Template

1

Choose a template

Pick from 33 templates across five groups — General, Marketing & Sales, Transactional, Business & SaaS, and Industry & Lifestyle. Use the searchable picker to find a starting point fast, or choose Blank to build from scratch.

2

Customize each block

Click any block on the canvas to select it, then edit its content and styling in the sidebar. Use Add Block, the move-up and move-down arrows, and delete to arrange headers, text, images, buttons, dividers, spacers, social links, and footers.

3

Set global Email Settings

Open the Email Settings panel to control the overall look: Email Width (320–800px, 600px recommended), Background, Content BG, Font, Accent Color, and Text Color. These apply across every block at once.

4

Preview and export

Toggle desktop and mobile preview to check both layouts. Then click Copy for Paste to drop the formatted email straight into Gmail or Outlook, or open the HTML view and Copy HTML for a marketing platform or your own sending code.

Features

Block-Based Visual Editor

Build emails with eight block types — header, text, image, button, divider, spacer, social, and footer. Add, reorder, and delete blocks, no code required.

33 Professional Templates

Start from a ready-made design organized into five categories: General, Marketing & Sales, Transactional, Business & SaaS, and Industry & Lifestyle.

Searchable Template Picker

Type a keyword to filter every template across all categories, with results grouped by category for quick navigation.

Block & Global Styling

Tune each block's colors, padding, alignment, and font sizes, plus global settings for email width, background, font, accent, and text color.

Desktop & Mobile Preview

Toggle between desktop and a 375px mobile preview to see exactly how your email renders on different screen sizes.

Email-Compatible HTML Output

Generates table-based HTML with inline styles, MSO conditional comments for Outlook, and mobile media queries — the gold standard for client compatibility.

Copy for Paste

Copies your email as rich text using the Clipboard API, so you can paste the fully formatted message directly into Gmail, Outlook, or any composer.

Copy Raw HTML

Switch to the HTML view and copy the raw code to drop into email marketing platforms or your own sending infrastructure.

Built-in Sending Guide

An in-app guide walks you through sending via Gmail and Outlook, ESPs like Mailchimp, SendGrid, Brevo, and Amazon SES, or programmatically through APIs.

Dark Mode

A polished dark theme keeps the editor comfortable to work in, day or night, while your email preview stays true to its own colors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You design visually by adding and arranging blocks on the canvas and editing their content in the sidebar. The builder writes the HTML for you, so you can create a complete email template without touching code.

Can I export the HTML code?

Yes. Switch to the HTML view and click Copy HTML to copy the full generated code, then paste it into your email marketing platform's code editor or use it as the HTML body in your own sending code.

Are the templates responsive and mobile-friendly?

Yes. The generated HTML includes responsive media queries that adapt the layout on small screens, and you can switch to the 375px mobile preview to check how everything looks before you send.

Do these emails work in Outlook and Gmail?

Yes. The output uses table-based layout with inline styles plus Microsoft Outlook (MSO) conditional comments, so it renders reliably in Gmail, Outlook desktop and web, Apple Mail, Yahoo Mail, and most mobile apps. As always, send yourself a test before your final send.

Can I paste my email directly into Gmail?

Yes. Click Copy for Paste, open Gmail and compose a new message, then paste with Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V). The fully formatted email appears directly in the compose window — the same works for Outlook.

Can I use my own images?

Yes. Select an image block and set its Image URL in the sidebar. Host the image on a publicly accessible URL — your website, cloud storage, or an image host — so it loads for everyone who opens the email.

What is the recommended email width?

600px is the industry standard and works well across most clients. You can adjust the width anywhere from 320px to 800px in the Email Settings panel.

Can I use custom fonts?

The builder offers seven email-safe font families — Arial, Helvetica Neue, Georgia, Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Tahoma, and Courier New. Custom web fonts are not offered because most email clients strip them and fall back to a default anyway.

Is my data saved or uploaded?

No. The builder runs entirely in your browser and your content is never uploaded or stored on a server. To keep your work, copy the HTML code and save it locally.
