How to Use

The tool starts with a default Product Comparison template that you can use as-is or customize to fit your specific needs. Follow these steps to create your comparison chart:

Click the Templates button to select from Product, Pricing, Software, or Phone Specs templates

Click "Add Item" to add columns for each thing you want to compare

Click any cell to type text, or change the cell type for different formats

Editing Cell Types

Each cell can display data in three different formats to match your content needs. Hover over any data cell and click the small arrow icon to switch between types:

Text

Type any value such as price, description, or specification

Check/Cross

Click to cycle through checkmark, cross, or empty state

Rating

Click dots to set a 1-5 star rating for qualitative comparisons

Smart tip: When you change a cell's type, other empty cells in the same row will automatically switch to match, saving you time during setup.

Customizing Your Chart

  • Rename — Click any column header or feature name to edit it directly
  • Change colors — Click the color dot on a column header to pick from 12 vibrant colors

  • Reorder rows — Drag the grip handle on the left side of any feature row to reorganize
  • Remove items — Use the X button to delete any column or row you don't need
