How to Use the Virtual Fireplace

Pick a style

Use the style bar at the top to switch between Classic, Modern, Campfire, and Candles. The fire updates instantly to match the scene you choose.

Turn on the sound

Browsers stay silent until you interact, so click Enable Sound (or the play control) to start the crackling fire audio. Drag the volume slider to set the level, or click the speaker icon to mute.

Layer ambient sounds

Toggle Wind or Rain from the control bar to build a richer soundscape. Each one layers over the fire and follows the master volume. In Candles mode, the Intensity slider controls flame size.

Set a sleep timer

Open the timer and choose 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. When the time is up, the fire and every sound fade out gently so it never cuts off abruptly.

Why is there no sound when I open the page?

What is the difference between the four styles?

Classic is a traditional brick fireplace, Modern uses a cooler blue flame on a dark backdrop, Campfire simulates an outdoor fire at night, and Candles shows five animated candle flames drawn with canvas particles.

Can I run it full screen or on a TV?

Yes. Put your browser into full screen and the fire fills the display, with the controls fading out while you watch. Set a sleep timer if you want it to stop on its own.

Does it have crackling, wind, and rain sounds?

What does the Intensity slider do?
