Pet Weight Tracker for Dogs, Cats & More
The Pet Weight Tracker lets you log your pet's weight over time and watch the trend on an interactive chart. Record each weigh-in, set a target weight, and get an instant health status so you can spot gradual gains or losses before they become a problem.
It works for any animal: pick Dog, Cat, or Other with a custom type, choose kg or lbs, and track several pets side by side. It's built for owners who want a simple weight log and chart to keep an eye on a growing puppy or kitten, a senior pet, or a friend on a weight-management plan.
How to Track Your Pet's Weight
Add your pet
Click Add Pet and fill in the name, pet type (Dog, Cat, or Other), size category for dogs and cats, a target weight, and your preferred unit. The app suggests an ideal weight range as you choose the type and size.
Log a weight entry
Use the Log Weight form to pick the date (it defaults to today), type the weight, and click Add Entry. Logging a second weight for the same date simply updates that day's entry.
Watch the trend
Stats cards show the current weight, the change from the last entry, the health status, and the target. The chart plots every weigh-in with a dashed target line, and the Weight History table lists all entries newest first.
Manage your pets
Switch between pets with the tab bar, and use the three-dot menu on any tab to edit a pet's details or delete it. Each pet keeps its own independent history, chart, and stats.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I track my pet's weight over time?
Add your pet once, then log a weight entry each time you weigh them. The app saves every entry by date, plots them on a chart, and lists them in a history table so you can see the trend at a glance.
How often should I weigh my dog or cat?
For most pets, weighing about once a week is enough to track trends without getting lost in daily fluctuations. If your pet is on a weight-management plan, your vet may recommend weighing more often.
What is a healthy weight for my pet?
When you add a dog or cat, the app suggests an ideal weight range based on the type and size category, drawn from common veterinary guidelines. These are general figures only — ask your veterinarian for your specific pet's ideal weight, and for other pet types set the target manually.
What do the health status indicators mean?
The status compares the most recent weight to the target. Healthy is within 10% of target, Overweight is more than 10% above, Obese is more than 20% above, Underweight is more than 10% below, and Very Underweight is more than 20% below. They are approximate guides, not a diagnosis — always consult your vet.
What happens if I log two weights on the same date?
The existing entry for that date is updated with the new value. Each pet can have only one weight entry per date, so there are no duplicate days in the chart or history.
Can I track pets other than dogs and cats?
Yes. Choose Other as the pet type and enter a custom name such as Rabbit, Hamster, or Bird. Suggested ranges are only available for dogs and cats, so for other animals set the target weight manually based on your vet's advice.
Is my data saved if I close the browser?
Yes. All pets and entries are stored locally in your browser and will be there when you return. Signing in to a free account also syncs your data to that account so you can access it across devices.
