Crane Operator Simulator

Crane Operator Simulator

Operate a tower crane in your browser — rotate the boom, move the trolley, control the cable, and deliver crates to target zones across 5 levels.

Crane Operator Simulator

Crane Operator Simulator lets you operate a tower crane on a busy construction site right in your browser. Rotate the boom, slide the trolley along the arm, and raise or lower the cable to hook crates and deliver them to the marked target zones.

With realistic pendulum swing physics and five progressive levels, this crane game rewards precision and timing as you steer loads past obstacles and onto elevated platforms. It is made for curious minds who want to feel a tower crane, casual gamers after a relaxing physics puzzle, and simulation fans who appreciate believable crane mechanics.

Private by design: the entire simulation runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and there is nothing to install.

How to Operate the Crane

1

Rotate the boom

Swing the boom left or right so it points toward a crate on the ground. Press A/D (or the arrow keys) on desktop, or hold the rotate buttons on mobile.

2

Align the trolley

Move the trolley along the boom with Q (in) and E (out) until the hook hangs directly above the crate.

3

Lower the cable and grab

Press W/S to raise or lower the cable. Drop the hook close to the crate, then press Space (or tap Grab) to pick it up.

4

Deliver to the target zone

Reposition the crane over the green target zone, lower the crate into it, and press Space to release. Deliver every crate to finish the level; press R to reset if you get stuck.

On mobile: use the on-screen touch buttons along the bottom. Hold a button to keep rotating, moving the trolley, or adjusting the cable.

Features

Rotating Boom (Jib)

Swing the horizontal arm left and right to aim the hook over crates and target zones, just like a real tower crane.

Trolley Movement

Slide the trolley in and out along the boom to set exactly how far from the tower the hook hangs.

Cable & Hook Control

Raise and lower the cable to drop the hook onto a crate and lift it clear of obstacles below.

Pendulum Swing Physics

Rotating the boom makes the hanging load swing. Time your moves and let the swing settle for clean pickups.

Grab & Deliver Crates

Hook a crate, carry it across the site, and release it into the green target zone for a successful delivery.

5 Progressive Levels

From a single ground delivery to four simultaneous drops on multi-tier platforms, each level ups the challenge.

Elevated Platforms & Obstacles

Lift crates over safety-striped barriers and onto raised platforms that demand precise height control.

Score & Level Timer

Track your total deliveries and the time spent on each level, then race to clear all five as fast as you can.

Keyboard Controls

Drive everything with A/D, W/S, Q/E, Space, and R — boom, cable, trolley, grab/drop, and level reset.

Mobile Touch Controls

On-screen hold-to-act buttons let you operate the whole crane from a phone or tablet.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you control the crane?

On desktop, use A/D to rotate the boom, W/S to raise and lower the cable, Q/E to move the trolley, Space to grab or drop a crate, and R to reset the level. On mobile, the same actions are available as on-screen touch buttons.

How do you lift and place a load?

Rotate the boom and slide the trolley so the hook hangs over a crate, then lower the cable until it is close and press Space to grab. Carry the crate over the green target zone, lower it into the zone, and press Space again to deliver it.

Why does the crate swing when I rotate the boom?

That is the simulator's physics at work. When a crane boom turns, the hanging load swings like a pendulum, and the faster you rotate the more it swings. Rotate slowly and wait for the swing to settle before you try to grab or drop a crate.

How do I deliver crates to elevated platforms?

Position the hook directly above the green target zone on the platform, then lower the cable until the crate sits inside the zone and press Space to release. The crate needs to be close to the target zone for the delivery to count.

What do the Q and E keys do?

Q moves the trolley in toward the tower and E moves it out toward the boom tip. The trolley is the small unit that travels along the boom, so it decides how far from the tower the hook hangs.

Can I play it in the browser on mobile?

Yes. The simulator runs entirely in your browser with no download or sign-up. On phones and tablets, touch control buttons appear at the bottom of the screen — hold a button to keep rotating, moving the trolley, or adjusting the cable.

How do I reset a level?

Press R on desktop or tap the reset button to restart the current level. Resetting reloads the level layout and removes that level's deliveries from your score.
