Click Speed Test & Accuracy Trainer
This click speed test measures and trains your mouse accuracy and reaction time with short, structured target-practice sessions. You click colorful bubble targets as they appear, and the tool tracks every hit, miss, and millisecond. It is built for gamers sharpening their aim, anyone rebuilding fine motor control, and people who simply want faster, more precise clicking.
Pick from three training modes, choose how many targets to chase, and set the difficulty. Each session ends with a star rating, a score, and detailed stats, and your recent runs are saved so you can watch yourself improve and beat your personal best.
How to Use the Click Trainer
Choose a mode
Select Shrinking Targets, Speed Click, or Precision depending on whether you want to train speed, reaction, or fine accuracy.
Set targets and difficulty
Pick a target count of 15 (quick), 25 (standard), or 40 (extended), then choose Easy, Medium, or Hard.
Start clicking
Press Start Training and a 3-2-1 countdown begins. Targets then appear one at a time in random spots — click each as fast and accurately as you can. A hit pops with a green animation; a miss flashes the play area red.
Read your results
The live stats bar shows hits, misses, color-coded accuracy, and average reaction time. When the run ends you get a 1-5 star rating and full stats. Choose Play Again for another round or Change Mode to switch.
Features
Shrinking Targets Mode
Targets shrink and disappear over time, so you must click before they expire. Lifetimes run 3s (Easy), 2s (Medium), or 1.5s (Hard) to test speed and accuracy under pressure.
Speed Click Mode
Targets stay put until you click them, so you can focus purely on reacting and clicking as fast as possible.
Precision Mode
Tiny targets ranging from 28px (Easy) down to just 12px (Hard) train careful cursor control and fine motor accuracy.
Three Difficulty Levels
Easy, Medium, and Hard adjust target size (and shrink time) for warm-ups, regular practice, or a serious challenge.
Adjustable Target Count
Run a 15-target quick session, a 25-target standard round, or a 40-target extended workout.
Real-Time Stats & Feedback
A live bar shows hits, misses, color-coded accuracy, and average reaction time, with pop and red-flash animations on every click.
Star Rating & Score
Each hit earns 100 base points plus a speed bonus, and every session is graded from 1 to 5 stars on accuracy and reaction time.
Session History
Your last 20 sessions are saved automatically so you can compare runs across modes and get notified on a new personal best.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which mode should I start with?
Speed Click on Easy is the best starting point. Targets stay until you click them, so you can focus on hitting each one without the pressure of them vanishing. Once that feels comfortable, move on to Shrinking Targets for an added time challenge.
What is a good click accuracy or reaction time?
Aim to keep your accuracy in the green zone — 80% or higher during a run. For reaction time, anything under 400ms average is excellent, under 600ms is strong, and under 800ms is solid. The five-star tier rewards 95%+ accuracy with a sub-400ms average.
How do I improve my click speed?
Warm up on Easy, then gradually raise the difficulty as your accuracy holds in the green. Train Speed Click for raw reaction, Precision for control, and Shrinking Targets to combine both. Short, regular sessions and watching your average reaction time improve faster than occasional long ones.
What do the star ratings mean?
Stars combine accuracy and average reaction time: 5 stars for 95%+ accuracy under 400ms, 4 stars for 85%+ under 600ms, 3 stars for 70%+ under 800ms, 2 stars for 50%+ accuracy, and 1 star below 50%.
How is the score calculated?
Each successful hit earns 100 base points plus a speed bonus — the faster you click, the larger the bonus (up to 100 extra points for a near-instant click). Misses do not add points and lower your accuracy.
How small are targets in Precision Hard mode?
Just 12 pixels across — about the size of a period. It is extremely demanding and made for users who want to push their accuracy and cursor control to the limit.
Can I stop a session early?
Yes. Press the Stop button in the stats bar at any time. If you have already landed some hits, you will see your results for that run; if not, you simply return to the setup screen.
Is my progress saved, and does it work on mobile?
Your last 20 sessions are kept in your browser's local storage and persist across reloads, and you are alerted when you beat a personal best. The trainer also supports touch input and goes full-screen on phones, though it is best experienced with a mouse on desktop.
