Read the result
The result panel shows a format badge (such as EAN-13 or Code 128) and the decoded value. Use Copy to grab the value, or Search Product on EAN/UPC codes to look it up online.
Revisit past scans
Open Scan History to view and re-select earlier scans. History is saved in your browser between sessions; use Clear All to wipe it.

How do I scan a barcode from an image?

Yes. Tap Use Camera to scan live with your device's rear-facing camera, using the guide line to position the barcode. Camera access requires HTTPS and your permission. By default the camera stops after a successful scan; turn off Stop when scanned to keep scanning continuously.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All processing happens locally in your browser — your images and camera feed are never uploaded to any server. Scan history is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device.
Why is my barcode not being detected?
Detection depends on image quality. Make sure the barcode is clear, well-lit, and not blurry. Try a higher-resolution image or hold the camera closer. Damaged or partly obscured barcodes may not be readable.
What does "Search Product" do?
When you scan a product code (EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, or UPC-E), a Search Product button appears. Clicking it opens an online search for that barcode number so you can find product information, pricing, and reviews.
Can I scan multiple barcodes from one image?
An uploaded image is decoded as a single barcode, so the tool reads the most prominent code in the picture. For several barcodes, scan each one separately or use the camera to read them one at a time.
